Construction of Coal Handling Facility (Train Loading System, Rail Loop), Tanjung Enim
Project Background
The growing demand in the coal industry within the region has necessitated a significant optimization of transportation infrastructure. In response, the project focuses on enhancing the mobilization capacity by introducing a new track, aptly named the "Train Loop System (TLS) 5." This additional track is designed to streamline coal transport operations, alleviating congestion and improving overall efficiency in the movement of resources. As a subcontractor working alongside PT Wijaya Karya, we played a pivotal role in the implementation of the railway signaling system, seamlessly integrating it into the existing infrastructure.
Project Completion
In 2022, the project reached a successful milestone, being fully completed, commissioned, and certified by Indonesia's Railway Ministry (Direktorat Jenderal Perkeretaapian). This certification highlights the project’s adherence to stringent safety and operational standards, ensuring its readiness for long-term use. By upgrading the signaling system, we significantly improved the reliability, efficiency, and responsiveness of the railway infrastructure, making it better equipped to handle the increased demands of the coal industry.
